Today, we walked by the 'Mike Weber' pond on Grange Ave. west of 108th Street.
( I have no idea what the legal designation of the detention pond is, but until I learn its real name, it will be the 'Mike Weber' pond in honor of the current village administrator).
We saw numerous schools of goldfish in the pond (dozens if not hundreds in total).
We also saw a small turtle, not sure what species but definitely not a snapping turtle.
