I woke up at 3am to go to the bathroom. So I figured I should go out to view the Leonid meteor shower.
In an hour and a half, I saw 3 good ones, and several faint ones.
Far short of the predicted one per four minutes.
And none of the "fireballs" that I was hoping for.
The dominant experience was the intense stench of skunk that only lasted a few minutes. My guess is that it was not a skunk, but instead one of the local foxes patrolling the perimeter.
